About Mr. Nichols

Kelly Nichols is in his fourth year as Principal of Eureka Middle School after serving as Assistant Principal for two years at Eureka High School. Mr. Nichols graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Physical Education. He also has earned a M.S. in Sport Management from Western Illinois and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois - Springfield. Mr. Nichols has taught Physical Education, Social Studies, Health & Life Skills during his time in the classroom. He also coached High School Boys Basketball. 

Mr. Nichols lives in Eureka with his wife Diana and their sons Davis and Simeon and daughter Leah. He enjoys spending time with family & friends, running, traveling and reading. His favorite book is Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand.
