Soft skills are skills that are important in all aspects of life and relationships. They are seen as valuable by friends, families, schools, employers, and communities.

Soft skills covered at EMS include: Attitude, Collaboration, Conflict-Resolution, Effort, Honesty, Integrity, Organization, Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, Self-Advocacy, and Service.

Students earn ratings in 5 of the soft skills taught at EMS:

Respect
Responsibility
Self-Advocacy

Ratings are reported as: always (4), consistently (3), inconsistently (2), and rarely (1).
