7th Grade Active Citizens

posted Mar 22, 2016, 7:17 AM by Carol Gardner
Mrs. Ogg's 7th grade students have been learning about becoming active citizens in their community by working to improve an area that is important to them.  Two students, Kelsey McClallen and Marisa Herrmann, have taken their project, of creating a dog park in Eureka, all the way to City Hall.  The girls have met with the Park Committee three times and the committee likes their idea.  Watch the newspaper for more on this developing story.  Anyone interested in helping the girls with this project may email Mrs. Ogg at cheri.ogg@district140.org.
